Bathua ki sabji | Bathua bhaji | Gheri Bhaji | Aalni Bhaji

Ingredients for bathua ki sabji –

  1. Bathua- 250 gram
  2. Rice- 1 handful
  3. Cumin seeds- 2 tsp
  4. Garlic cloves- 8
  5. Green chili- 4
  6. Cloves- 2
  7. Black pepper- 4
  8. Curd- 4 tbsp
  9. Gram flour- 2 tbsp
  10. Chat masala- 1 tsp
  11. Salt- 2 tsp
  12. Turmeric powder- 1/2 tsp
  13. Gram masala- 1/4 tsp
  14. Coriander powder- 1 tsp
  15. Water- 1 glass

Recipe of bathua ki sabji –

  1. Wash bathua and rice properly.
  2. Boil bathua and rice.
  3. Mash it.
  4. Grind garlic, black pepper, cumin seeds, cloves, green chili and make its paste.
  5. Boil the bathua rice paste and add grinded spices paste.
  6. Mix it well and let it boil so spices cook well.
  7. Mix gram flour in water and add in bathua rice paste.
  8. Now add coriander powder, turmeric powder, salt.
  9. Boil it till all spices cook well .
  10. Add gram masala and chat masala.
  11. Boil it again for 1-2 minutes.
  12. Add curd and mix it well.
  13. Now switch off the flame quickly after mixing curd.
  14. So tasty and healthy gheri bhaji or bathua ki sabji is ready to serve.
  15. You can decorate it with fresh bathua leaves.
  16. You can add methi in place of bhathua, but its taste slightly bitter.
